    Wet Drum Magnetic Separator

    Wet magnetic separator has an effective role in ore
    separation processes. In addition, it stands out with its
    efficiency in iron ore separation processes.


    ENG Mineral wet magnetic separator can be designed
    and used according to the dimensions required by the
    industry. Our wet magnetic separator can be produced
    up to 636-1250 mm drum diameter and 3600 mm drum
    length. Appropriate magnetic field range and tank
    design has been improved in order to achieve to the
    efficiency level as it shows in iron ore. 

    Concurrent Design (CC)
    Homogeneous feed collector


    The drum armor rotates in the same
    direction as the flow direction of the
    fed material.


    Adjustable outlet chambers at the
    bottom of the tank for non-magnetic
    material


    Selection of bottom outlet chambers
    to adjust the solid-liquid balance
    Recommended for coarse material
    grains

    Countercurrent Design (CTC)

    The feed is distributed over the entire
    magnetic surface from the lowest
    point of the tank.


    The channel length is kept at
    maximum length by the drum armor
    for highest magnetic recovery and
    quality.


    The drum rotates in the opposite
    direction to the flow direction of the
    material.


    There is a full width waste outlet
    section that can tolerate quite large
    fluctuations in flow.


    Increased magnetic field exposure of
    magnetic particles
    Iron concentration is also
    recommended for higher yields


    Special centrifugal distributor is
    recommended for feeding 

    Countercurrent Design (CR)

    A full width feed collector directs the
    material into the preparation
    chamber.


    In the magnetic concentrate outlet
    section, nozzle feed is provided to the
    drum surface.

    WORKING PRINCIPLE

    Firstly, the fed iron ore enters the tank of the
    magnetic drum. The wet iron ore is drawn by the drum
    and the iron ore drawn to the surface is separated
    from the waste material and the separation process is
    completed.


    In order to get full efficiency from the wet drum
    magnetic separator, appropriate solid ratio, feed rate
    and correct washing parameters should be considered.


    The system is suitable for use in the range of 14-45
    rpm depending on the material structure in the plants.


    The material to be separated should not be too dense
    between the bowl and the drum surface. Solid - liquid
    ratio should be 25-30% by weight. Particles adhering
    to the surface should be cleaned with washing nozzles
